The COVID-19 Story, things we take for granted
After all the drama I experienced, this article would definitely be the last thing I’m gonna share. As the world doesn’t revolve around me, I realized that there is a priority when it comes to addressing an issue. Not only are you struggling with resources, but you’re also battling with time. The longer this pandemic continues, the more we will suffer from material and immaterial losses. Everyone’s life has been so demanding since the pandemic began. As a result, there must be a sense of tolerance as well as acceptance if we seek aid. We couldn’t escape the fact that we require each other’s help as social creatures. I’ve had…

The COVID-19 Story, the worst is yet to come
The state of emergency for covid-19, also known as PPKM Darurat, was declared from July 3 until July 20, 2021. However, on Tuesday, the last day of PPKM Darurat, Indonesian President Joko Widodo announced on his official YouTube channel a five-day extension till July 25, 2021. The reason for this is that the number of covid-19 cases in Indonesia is rapidly increasing, and I was one of them contributing to the cases. My roommate developed severe symptoms on Friday, one day before PPKM Darurat was implemented. He wasn’t sure if those symptoms were likely to be Covid-19’s at first. As a result, he went off to work as usual. However,…

Everything Happens For A Reason
There were myriad moments in my life that made me difficult to forget. The moment when I failed the university admission exam, the moment I didn’t win a competition, and the moment when I lose some precious stuffs that belong to me. They were full of bad experience indeed. Not only because they were “pricey”, but also those stuff no longer could support me to run the day and the future. These are some stories I’m trying to recall that gave me immense lessons in life. I’m not sure to what extent the lessons have contributed to shape who I am today. But, the failure and loss as the result…

Five Things I Discovered in Life After College
I’ve been living in Jakarta for roughly six months. There’s no such thing as being grateful for what I’ve got so far. In a world where there’s no clarity but uncertainty, college graduates have to deal with more complex problems from what they used to experience. Some have to work their ass off to survive, but some are just lucky. Some have their life planned, but the rest is just following the stream. What about you? Well, I think I’m just short of a lucky guy who embraced emerging opportunities earlier. I used to be the one who planned everything, but some were to no avail. Whenever I wanted something,…

A Never-ending Job Searching
Lately, social media is filled with a variety of facts telling how difficult it is for recent graduates to find a job. Particularly, for those who just recently graduated. It does take time, not only for these inexperienced groups of people to be able to have a decent job (and obviously a monthly salary). I did talk to some of my acquaintances, just to have some other perspective on how hard they struggle to find a job and surely how they see their life in the near future. “I’ve been called for interviews roughly ten times, still, I didn’t get the job,” said someone. There’s even who applied to be…
