A Recent Graduate’s Thought
A couple of weeks before graduation, I could not handle the fear of being jobless. After my junior proceed the responsibility as an editor in chief, I still had no idea what I would become with my upcoming degree. I was questioning myself a lot, literally. Do I deserve to hold the degree? Am I qualified enough to be hired in a company? Or as simple as, how I could feed my hunger and pay the bills. A couple of months before finishing my thesis, there was a simple chit-chat among us, graduates-to-be. Some feared for not being a good student, thus they assumed they wouldn’t have a chance to…

A Bad Decision-maker and His Inconsistency
Hello mates. How is life going? My week is just so so. There’s nothing special as I imagined before going home. However, it’s pretty much easier at the moment to think about what step I will take. One year full of excitement had been dismissed. But don’t worry, I do have other plans waiting to be executed. Hehe. As any other human beings who live the life as it goes, I barely could say that my future is as bright as my plan. Nope. I do have plans, but don’t you know that I’m a bad decision-maker? Story: Why You Must Take a Gap Year after High School
It’s weird, I know, an inconsistency of the language used in this blog made it even weird. But, I’m trying my best in a way to provide inspiring stories and stuff. Haha. It happened to me roughly five years ago, it was tough, but I managed to deal with it. Including on convincing my parents that everything is gonna be okay for a year ahead. There’s no time to regret over the failures, I took my own…

What We Could Learn from Portuguese (Part 2)
In the previous article, I already mentioned three things that we, as human-beings, could learn from Portuguese. I know that those things don’t merely belong to Portuguese. Since I’ve been living here for a couple of months, I noticed that the life is going to be easier and happier if everyone could apply them in daily life. 1. Power of Obrigado and Smile Living in Indonesia whose climate is relatively warm in the entire year, stimulates its people to become warm too and give their best smile to everyone. This thing that I was worry about. I was wondering whether people would welcome and befriend me or not. But apparently,…

What We Could Learn from Portuguese (Part 1)
As an Indonesian living abroad, I’ve been experiencing an abundance of great things ever in my life. I met a lot of people with pretty much different stuff like age, language, culture and you name it. Not only is it shocking, but also it’s either challenging. Fortunately, I’m living in Porto, Portugal, short of a perfect city to stay and start a new whole life for a year. Why did I say that? Simply because I love being here. Portuguese people are super nice and warm, even to strangers. I’ve been to many countries in Europe but still I could see the differences. Honestly, it doesn’t mean that other European…
